Serves as the board’s chief executive, managing office staff, procedures and responsibilities.

Handles all claims for $1,000 or more. Assigns claims to hearing officers, sets hearings, places claims on the board’s agenda and distributes final board decisions.

Assistant Clerk: Paula M. Woolums paula.woolums@ky.gov
Reviews each claim form received and returns incomplete claim forms to the claimant, with a request for needed information. Answers general questions to help a potential claimant determine whether the Board of Claims is the proper place to file the claim.

Investigator: Jacqueline Lynch jacqueline.lynch@ky.gov
Investigates claims under $1,000 and determines whether or not the state agency or state employee named in the claim was negligent or at fault for the claimant’s damage, loss or injury.

Investigator: Wanda Luttrell wanda.luttrell@ky.gov
Assists other investigator, performing similar tasks.
